Cheers for that, good fun, although I do need something a tad bigger to haul my ass over that hill (and that doesn't scream so much at 100+!).

Yep cheers for the ride and the lunch company at Toppy's folks, hadnt been on one of these rides in a long time - and what a day we had for it too. I left early and had a great ride back over the takas.

Yes what a luvly ride today...just what the Dr ordered. Have had withdrawl symptoms from not riding for about 2 months. First a broken shoulder (which still isn't 100%) and then a month in Malaysia with no bike. A sunny Sunday on my first weekend back too!

Am keen to take a ride to Ngawi, or Lake ferry hotel for lunch one Sunday....whaddya reckon??

Man, my inner thighs are feeling yesterday's ride this morning... who knew.

Was the longest ride Ive been on to date though.

Looking forward to the next one.

Saw a few of you as we passed thru. We waved to a group at Caltex & we stopped at the top for a quick look before heading to Featherston, following an MV, Apillia & a BMW, before stopping for lunch. Also had stops in Mangatinoka, Wanganui, Patea for gas before getting home at 7pm. Prob the best blast thru the Manawatu gorge (got past a slow cue just before & had a clear run).

I am sure hoping there is a group there .. we have Vic Club races this weekend so Sunday is recovery day .. but others should be out in force as the weather is looking above average.

You never know, I might make it as I'm finally home after a month of weekends away before I'm away for the two after that.

ill be in as long as weather not too bad. hopefully see another vfr rider there ive a few questions about the vfr to ask some one who knows any thing
