Weekday/shiftworking biker rides in the Supercity?

IN the super city.... i.e. the greater Auckland region!

Just interested to see if there are other riders out there that, because of shiftwork etc, have time to do social rides during the weekdays now and then.

I always have 4 days off after my shift pattern ends. Would be good to find others that have weekdays free for social rides.

Must do Pukekohe and Hampton Downs sometime too......

I sure am free a lot of the time...now the question is, what service do you work in to have 4 days off? Cause I work 4 on 4 off

Four on four off here too
Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

Prohibited from mentioning it. 10 day cycle with last 4 days off.

4 on/4 off happens to our 10-hr shift people. I have weirdass days on/off due to shiftwork myself.

I'd like to do more rides, but I'm a noob...

Great solution for ones noobness is to ride as often as you can. Any plans to purchase a two wheeled weapon?

I'm currently borrowing my boyfriend's bike while he's at sea. I'm riding it as often as possible (it has been joked that since my car is living at his place now, and I should start paying rent). He'll be getting his 6F soon, at which point he's planning on getting a bigger bike, and I get Scorpio. I loves the Scorp, she is a neat bike.

However, if I win Lotto any time soon, there will definitely be a bike on the wishlist...

Yep, but we cant wish our lives away on lotto or the remote chance of winning it. Life is short, get stuck in and make it happen.

Plently of sensible riders out there happy to pootle along at a sensible pace to help you get your skills up.

Nice..... just use this or new meetings threads to post up auckland rides on days off.

I will post one or two rides up once I get time off. Basically anyone wanna come for a ride and coffee feel free. Everyone else just be encouraged to do the same.

Best policy is give eachother a few days notice of impending rides/ldeas and we can sort them out for those available to ride.
