Put a Breton a Cornish man and a Welshman in the same room and you'll find that if we all spoke our own languages we would all be able to understand one another. In fact Cornwall was part of Wales until around the 15 century. I've actually had a half decent conversation with a Bretton in our repsective own languages when I toured Brittanny last year.
Coolness! Man - that'd be something to hear..

Now you're just showing off!! Respect. You win.
Awwww thanks - but I cheated:

Linguistic Languages : English, French, German, Italian, American English
Commonly defined Languages : As above - without American
The dialects are all English dialects from Derbyshire Nottinghamshire and the Lancs/Yorks cross - 'cept for Somerset Bristol and Gloucester Bristol...

Heh - I think YOU win and I get - cos your languages are cooler!

Bring an umbrella - some of the noises we make for letters such as "ch", "ll" etc may result in a lot of spit flying around.

Try and pronounce this: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch.
It's the name of a village in north Wales. Wait a minute - let me stand back a bit first.

That would be the village by the church near the river down the dell - etc, right? I got taught how to say that (being a pom) for a while by a taff, and he cheated and just did
    Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogeryllantysiliogogogoch.

which misses out chwyndrobwll - I'm sure people would get confused without it there. BUT here goes:
