Great day, ended up being kinda long with riding back to the crappy raining shore after 11!!

Had a go in both have a go sessions which was fun, TS showed me some lines around the track in the second sessions before going off to lap me a few times!! in the end my confidence was building and would of liked for more time, next time!

Cheers to Ts for showing me those lines, FF for the chips and Quasi for the coffee.

That would be me mate that said it..... I like motards and am keen as hell to have a go on one.... But i got fucked off how they jumped in F3 even though they had their own class on the day.... The also jumped onto the front of the grid when some of them were lapping 3 or so seconds behind the average time....

Motards do rule but they suck when they are in F3....

No worries Alex when i came and passed you again, i saw that you were doing what i had showed you.... just crack into the corner with some higher speed and you will be flying....

Yeah I don't have a problem with Motards....except when I have to share the grid with them. F3 and 125GP mixed is bad enough (I feel sorry for the fast 125 riders) but Motards as well is just a joke.
Checking the results there were 12 motards entered in their own class and suprise suprise guess what ..... all 12 were also entered in F3!!!

Still, I'd love to have one!!

To all those KB'ers that took to the track- excellent work. And to all the supporters, well you guys are just as important. I doff my helmet to you all.

Looking at the result for the day and adding up all the points of the KB'ers (that I could recognise), impressive stuff. Keep up the good work.

i didnt do much on the the site yesterday as too much to organise and also 1 finger typing just takes so long back to two hands today so here goes.

i come thru the s's by the pits saw no one so decided to do my normal pace through there. come round the last right hander and there was a bike thet was going significantly slower and i was committed to that line so yanked the brakes and i think i hit him about twice his speed enough to take a chunk out of my wheel. any way sliding along the track and then another bike runs me over he couldnt avoid me either. i ended up in hospital to confirm dislocated AC joint and make sure i had no other injurys. got picked up about 7 and picked the bike up on the way home. well what a mess. front fairing, left clip on, front wheel and tyre, screen, left side fairing, rear cowling, rear solo seal cover, left side engine cover left rear set and peg all rooted. all glass is intact but the headlight is scratched and the mountings are broken. mirrors and indicators are heavily scratced but unbroken. front master cylinder also leaking. im also pretty sure the forks are bent. so in short, toast. its funny how the left side and front of the bike took most of the damage and yet my right shoulder is the one thats hurt but apparently the bike did a full 360. about the only things that are salvagable are the tank(holy shit how did i get away with that) and the exhaust and right side fairing.my riding gear is a bit rooted though although everything seemed to hold together well with the leathers only loosing there stitching in two spots and only about six inches but the leather is worn quite thin in places so repair or throw out.

worse news got a phone call about lunch time yesterday and a mate was killed on his gsxr1000 on sunday as well. seems it was a bad day for bikers on ssunday. thanks for everyones comments/support. big ups go out to the ambo, nurses and doc at taupo hospital. also MR,twosmoke,slim,6chris6,frosty,glen the guy that carted my bike away, and anyone else i cant remember. cheers top blokes and ladys the lot of yous.
