Do you also realise that Labour are paying gang members money to work with youths? Yes that's right.

    Well I see his point.
Two birds with one stone and a flow-on effect. Teach the gangs to be good little boys and then they will in turn teach the kiddies to stop fucking up our country.

Problem is its like a circle. Gangs teach kiddies bad stuff, kiddies do bad stuff, kiddies join gangs and do bad stuff and round and round.

I dont think that party can be taken seriousely.

You clearly are not a Skyryder watcher. Go and check my recent posts.

Jenny Shipley was the PM who bought the gangs into employment and used some for youth work. One of the better things that she did. I don't have a problem with gang members working to reduce crime. It seems that they are the only ones that some of the street kids give any cred to.

Employing bona fide gang members as youth workers is a common practice in the states. They they just don't employ anyone. Why don't you do a check and see what checks and balances are put in place here when employing such people. If it works I'm all for it.

Yes, National Governments in the past have made a few bad judgment calls but this "Started by National" crap has worn thin. Liarbour have had 3 terms to fix bad policy but instead have just made things gravely worse. Through absolutely no doing by Liarbour, the country (until now) has been surfing a favourable economic wave for the past few years and what have we to show for it? Nothing. Not a bean. Nada.

Time to rid ourselves of these self serving freaks and get back to some fundamental basics.

Exactly and that's why it's time for a man to be PM. No more mothering.

Helen a mother?? Not as far as I know. There's plenty here who think she's got balls. Truth is probably more than Key.

Can't see Labour getting soft on gangs. They have set up a new agency for this. Organised and Financial Crime Agency Better late than never.

I've heard a rumour that the Nats could 'restructure' this as part of deal for coalition with the Maori Party.

Im praying that the Nats win enough to go it alone. The world will be a better place without the Maori party and Green's having any leverage in anything.

I don't mind the leverage. I just want to know what it is before I vote and not after as is the case with all parties but the Progressives.

Unlike the Greens, the Maori party are there thanks to the first past the post section. They won seats, although they get one more seat due to MMP. Given the number of Maori winning seats in parliament anyway, it's high time that the Maori seats were abolished; but that ain't going to happen as removing one race's special privilige (nothing in the treaty about this!) would be immediately classed as racism.

Unfortunately John Key seems to be cuddling up to the natives, so won't do anything to upset his potential coalition parties. Don Brash had many policies absolutely spot on.
