I mostly wear my old Leather Fashions jacket I bought when I was 15. It's been patched up a few times and looks a bit rough but its comfy, warm in winter and cool in summer. Best part is the right hand pocket lining has blown so I can fit HEAPS of stuff in it. I also have a BMW Atlantis Pro fancy jacket but my son wears it more than me.

My leather pants are getting a bit tight round the waist but I still prefer them to my fancy BMW Tourance Trousers which are ok but make me sweat too much.

I mostly wear my 12 year old Shoei helmet for short trips. The BMW SportIntegral helmet is good, comfy and really quiet but I had a mishap one day riding past the fly-over at the Mount when they were spray painting so I got overspray on the visor. Replacement visor is $170 so I dont think I will be replacing it.

    Gloves are RJays xxs.

Boots are Gaerne but a little loose around the calves.

I woud be really keen to hear what it is the ladies want in way of gear, ie colours, styles, pockets, features, whatever, what special things do you want in your gear that you cant get in the main brands (or mine)
I would be happy to start developing something new for the girls.

I like black with a coloured trim. I don't like pockets on the hips as they make me look enormous! But I do like a pocket on the front for your key or a hankie. Don't put velcro on the pockets because it sticks to bloody everything and is a pain in the arse if you forget and put a tissue in your pocket.

Elasticated bit at the back of the waist so it doesn't go all saggy and baggy, and a range of leg lengths for the shortarses amongst us!

And good sizing - I take a 14 in clothes, yet when I try on bike pants, even a large size is too tight. I have seen far larger women, so where the hell do they get their pants?
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

I wear Quasi Jacket and Pants and with my L plate and my Pink jacket, people tend to back off and don't follow to closely, due to me obviously being female hahahaha

I love my quasi gear and wouldn't wear anything else. Except I have found that your gloves don't fit small hands. The fingers are fine but the body of the glove isn't made for narrow thin hands like I have and tend to slip.

Gloves are a real hard one to get right, we do xs up to xxl, and some people fit well and some dont, its very hard as peoples hands are so unique, all are different especially womens hands, long slender to short and "unslender"
its hard to have a range of gloves to fit all.
    Do our best though.
Spent most of last night designing a new race glove but will be based around the same sizing structure............cool glove though, possible the first glove with KNOX armor in it in this country

Don't www.motormail.co.nz have two outlets up your way? Have no idea of what they stock in way of brands etc, but going by there web site they seem to have a huge range. Maybe have look and see what they have and if you see something you like or in a style you like but feels cheap etc, show Quasi????..... just options.

It does pay to look around and don't rush in buying, unless you are really really happy with it.

Quasi - I've found that the BIGGEST issue people come up with when I deal with them is the nappy arse effect 99% of pants have.

The Ixon Luna pants are the best so far which for the most part are nice fitting and they come from an XS to a 5XL.

The next biggest issue with pants, which has been mentioned before is the leg length... they are pretty standard and if your slim and tall your outta luck and have to compromise for nappy arse, and if your short and curvey you get way too much leg room... which results in clumping and the knee armour riding up/down and not sitting correctly... The Ixon Angelic pants have tried to combat this by putting in an adjustable seam and a two way adjustable knee armour system...

But still... trying to find one pant that does the above is rather hard... and of course it has to look good and not every chick out there likes pink plastered all over the stuff they buy... or pretty embroidery and flowers and shit (no offense to those that do).

i'm sort of large-ish, longish arms and legs, slim-ish hips, biggish feet.....

helmets i have Shoei, Shark and nolan [i think] looking for more my sidi boots fit beautifully - but as for the rest ......
.... i've tried wearing womens clothes [as i understand many here have - irrespective of gender ] but after suffering a jo rocket ladies jacket that fit my chest and shoulders but had sleeves at near elbow-length when riding and a hip-flare that started under my bust and ended at bellybutton level ---- and ladies draggins that fit except the waistband rode down over my hips when i sat [yes, it looked funny ... but no, i wasn't laughing ...] i finally gave up and shopped in the mens' department

i'm now not stylish, but at least i'm covered ...... and black is soooooo slimming

........ unlike some here, i tend to stay away from pink and white [at my size i'd look like a stick of blackpool rock in it ]

Guys have that trouble too! I'm short and all the pants I tryed on would fit around the waist ok, but had an extra 3-4'' of leg passed my heal!!!! I got some Quasi pants and leg length is great, still have a little nappy arse....but I have NO arse anyway.... only time you see it is bending over..."Yeah Baby!" or on the bike. This was just there stock pants and really fitted great and feel good too.

Ahhh... Yes it does go both ways... you can get Mugello pants that have either a long or short leg, but as far as I'm aware thats the only men's pant that comes with those options...

    I have.....

    Shoei Helmet

Quasimoto leather jacket.....love it! Feels like theres decent protection although the sleeves are just a tad long. I can't help being a midget Also Quasimoto gloves.

Mens Dri Rider pants. Dont fit properly and I have been looking for an alternative for ages.

Jandals...oops I mean Zac boots. Way too small but the only choice the shop had at the time and I wanted them then and there.

Hmmm....anyone know where I can get some leather tassles for the jacket? I need to adapt the jacket so it suits my new bike image better
