i have noticed one issue with jackets... i dont know if its just me but when in kevlar (standard not too fancy SPYKE jacket) i find the whole jacket rides up no matter what and the shoulder armour and back protector lifts my helmet.....and is really uncomfortable, also have been tempted to take out the right shoulder armour as when 'checking the blind spot' all i can see is my bloody shoulder
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

I know sizing is an issue for you... but it sounds like you need a jacket that zips onto the pants, that way the pants will hold the jacket down and stop it riding up...

Most brands that do textile gear have added in that feature now with a zip approx 20-30cm long along the back that zips from jacket to pant and vice versa... and most of the jackets/pants will fit the zips so you don't even need to buy the same brand jacket and pants to get them to zip up...
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

Rev-it sapphire leather jacket which is cool, all my friends want to steal it! I just wear jeans around town or the boyfriends ixon pants.
I tried on the new ixon leather pants at the MCR ladies night and they were very cool, not that i can really afford them at the mo.
Well I want pants that are long enough for my legs, you can always take things up but cant add length. I too like black and aren't really into colours or embroidery. I like gear that serves its purpose but is also flattering/fits the womens form.

    Ok here goes:
Helmet: have an old agv & nolan but the shark I have is the best.

Boots: Garane adventure comfy wear them all day at work but wish they wouldn't get wet.

Gloves: Have had spidi xsmall summer gloves but the thumbs wore through in a summer. Now have Venom ladies teknics -love them & winter ones-don't know the brand.

Pants: Leathers from Leather Image-jean style.
Have Neo cordura small mens pants-hate them, hard to get over the hips, but fit when on but I can't wear with knee guards as I have fatter knees then the spindly male shape & they sit too high for my waist, there was only one womens style in the local shops when I got them & they were huge in all the wrong places while the rest fitted. So if anyone has a friend who whats smallmens pants let me know. I'm sticking to leather.
Need to find some wet weather over pants now that aren't a mile longer than my legs Have some wet winterweight ones but need light easy to rollup small ones.

Jackets: Have had a trusty bommer style leather from Hunters for 15yrs till recently. Great but once I started riding bikes I found it a but short in length to tour in & around town I got sunburnt on the back.
Have a cordura Orina mens jacket that is shapeless the neck is too huge & when I fill the pockets it is uncomfortable due to placement off them-get in the way off boobies & flabby tummy when leaning over the tank. Use it for short commutes now as it leaks in rain but ok for a short blat. Yes I have treated it regulary, the first year it was great.
My new Jacket is the Trimuph Sabre leather and is comfy even though it is new.
Dririder shell wet jacket have yet to be tested.

Still use polyprops etc but due to upgrade some off that stuff-be good to hear what others find warm & comfy.

I too prefer black- not practical to have white/light colours especially at rally's & pink just makes me

    that was long winded sorry.

Helmet is XS HJC..that already start to get to big afte ronly 8 months of use..

Gloves are old ones from France, XS, brand is Richa but did not see it around here

2 pieces leather Rev-It, pant is for men/women (so XS for me) but jacket is tight on the waist and very feminine (bt size is L ) so I don't look too big in it (or at least from what i think lol)..

Boots are stunt shoes Alpinestars..(size 5, from France)

My biggest problem is finding cheap boots in size 5/6. Small boots do exist but you need to get into big brands and there are absolutly no sale on them..
Actually looking for some by the way

The only women's gear I've been happy with and am committed to one brand is for off road, Fox Racing. I love their styles, colors, and options! I only wear fox, I'm happy. So far I haven't found anything great for street riding... options here are super limited, not many women ride and most that do it is on the back of their boyfriends bike, and they have matching gear... bleh... It seems like all the street gear here for women looks the same I want something cute and stylish and fun!

I have a shoei helmet and am wanting to by some Zxtar infinity boots.

After years of wearing guys boots I find I no longer fit the womans ones comfortably, I find they are too narrow.
I have a guys leather jacket which is to big in the chest, and a tecknic jacket that I liked.

I also say no to pink or embroidery. but, I would like coloured panels but mainly black, cut in a flattering style, lower than waist lenght.

    Helmet: HJC CS12

    Pants:
    1) Dririder Nordic 4 (too short in the leg though - need to find some that fit better)

    2) Black Draggins. None of the women's ones fitted right so I ended up buyin a men's pair and having them taken in at the waist to fit.

Gloves: two pairs of Spools - one with armour and one without

    Jackets:
    1) Dririder men's jacket in black - never really fitted properly but was cheap and a good waterproof backup. Also I can wear its black quilted liner as a completely separate jacket for social wear, so I often wear the liner under one of the other jackets if I'm going out.

    2) Spidi Ontrack ladies' jacket in dark blue - warm, waterproof and versatile. My standard jacket in the winter

    3) Spidi "Fit for Lady" Power Airtech jacket in black - I would have preferred the light grey one but Motomail didn't have any in my size the day I bought this one. Wonderfully cool in summer and a real pleasure to wear.

Boots: Sidi Lei 'Rose' style - black

As far as colours go, most of my gear is black - the exception is the dark blue jacket which might as well be black! This isn't out of choice - I bought for fit and the colour was incidental.

I would like a lighter coloured summer jacket just so it's cooler to wear on my long (and sometimes slow) daily commute.
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

    YEEEESSSS!

    I quite like my gear.

Notice I'm the first to say Macna. They are very very good quality, comfy pants and they come in midget right up to my size(fat slug) and bigger!

Am so relieved that I won't be thought of as anal too wearing the same brand from top to toe!

    I mix it up
Between: Ixon jacket..."for the most beautiful girls" it says on the inside also have a crusty dri-rider jacket. Macna Pants and also Draggin Jean cargos and black leather My boots are kindly on loan and I can't remember what they are and can't be arsed going to check. Quasimoto gloves and back protector (nicely broken in for Sunday I might add Mrs K..though not the gloves unfortunately) Back protector - well worth it's weight in gold and doesn't make my jacket and helmet ride up (unlike the stupid woosey piece of foam used to!)

Oh and mustn't forget my racing one piece...well hubbies actually - crotch down round my ankles Feels good on the track but!

Slightly related shameless personal Want ad:

On the note of WOMENS GEAR - where in AKL is good for womans boots?!

I'M TRYING TO GET A PAIR OF NICE RACE BOOTS OR GAERNE AQUATECHS IN A UK40...want to be able to try the buggars on before I shell out heaps of dosh! Anyone up there actually stock that size?

Im going to go to bed and cry !
Look at advertising in FMRiders magazine to gain some extra exposure... even look at doing an advertorial about how you have built the business up and some idea of cost.

I would be happy to start developing something new for the girls.
BTW - I did mention my Quasi back protector and gloves.

What do we girls want....I would like leathers that fit me in colours similar to the guys stuff with same armour etc good on the jacket to have more than the average amount of pockets...well maybe that's just me.

Hate the ghey pinks and baby blues but want more than just the stock black. A chicks fit in mens colour schemes would be cool.

I'd like seperate pockets for my cell phone, my ipod, my credit cards, and my earplugs, but that may be a little obsessive!
Highly recommend Quasi's back protectors, had a Knox one, which was good, until hubby bought a Quasi one and I tried it on, then I decided we needed to do swapsies.
