Glad he is back safe and sound.

good stuff Tony! really good to hear he was back with you safe and sound.
And man cops aint all that bad! they have a job to do, they do it, yes you get the odd bad one as you do in any profession i guess.
I think the biggest problem with cops 'rep is that there job (HP in this case) mostly seems to be go out and write tickets, they are told to do this, not like they can say ahh listen today im going to go save little kids from fires!, but anyway because of this its some human being that has to recieve this ticket, and because its a chance thing people dont like it when their luck runs out, and its only natural for us humans to whinge!.. what was the old stat we learnt in business studies? something like on average if we have a bad experience we will whine to 7 people for every 1 person we tell about a good experience.
that prolly doesnt make sense, but hopefully most can understand the 7:1 bad to good ratio

dont have to many problems with cops,
and any time i have has been my fault
(dam revenge gone wrong ETC)
have had a house raided buy the AOU,
the cop pointing the gun at me was more scared
than me,if he had shot i would have been spread all
over the house(his hand was shaking so much)
bummer they had the wrong person
(they thought i was a bank robber because an old plate
was found on the side of the road after a blag, it had come off my
bike 3 months before!)
working in a hospital gives you a different view on it all
(as does the 80s punk scene)

Glad all is ok Tony...
And at the risk of sounding selfish Im glad I did not hear about this until after the fact... the last time freaked me out sooo much, pretty wierd looking for a child I'd never met before!
On cops - like everything else in life - you cannot generalise, there are always good and bad eggs!

Good that it ended well but in 10 - 15 years time you'll be wondering how the hell you can get him to leave![]()
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

lucky buddy. Yeh i used to be anti cops - but in my trip over xmas, i was doing 100cliks safely in the cage with the family. And after seeing all the idiots in theyre cages (120+), im happy the boys in blue were around.
If we removed the quota system, i would have no problems with the cops at all. If i got caught, my own fucken fault.
Good to see BB back where the world is semi-safe
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
Like I've said before, you spend months getting aggro at the cops(mostly hp)for their stupid revenue collection ect(don't get me started)then you hear stories like this and feel all warm and fuzzy again

Thing that many forget but I`ve had told to me a few times is that these same guys get to see the results of people doing stupid stuff on the road, they get to tell parents that their son`s not coming home.......ever again. So you just come back from telling someone something like that,or scraping some dork off the road who thought he was bullet-proof,you then see Joe Superhero treating the road like his own personal race-track,how would you feel? You`ve possibly even saved the guy from totalling himself around the next corner and he`s arguing the toss,I`d have a hard job not grabbing the tosser by the throat let alone bothering to be polite.I`ve had loads of run-ins with the police(years ago) but looking around me I can see that on the whole they do a shit job for the good of us all for f-all thanks.Originally Posted by Kwaka-Kid
