Try the job in the middle of nowhere man. Small towns can be great. Plus you get to know all the locals. really hard to get to know people in places like Auckland and Christchurch, everybody has their little groups of friends and it's hard to break into a group.

i'd choose to move to the country
but i LIKE the country enough to put up with the inconveniences that sometimes go with it ...........

if you are a city boy, that may be a problem

on the other hand, how will you ever KNOW if you don't try it? you might be missing out on something AWESOME??

so the choice is, stay in your comfort zone or move out of it? but whatever you do, make it a CHOICE to go or to stay - don't just go on drifting

Ive lived in Aukland & reckon its a Shithole.Iv ealso lived in CHCh and I knoe Greta Vly.It a very small town but is on SH1 and It has a Tavern, I remember the locals as being Friendly. Also if you head north on SH1 you have some of the WORLDS BEST Bike roads.The Hunderlees, Kaikoura Coastline & on to Picton -Nelson.Sometimes a total change is the answer.also not far from The roads to West Coast.
