    Funny old day

Got woken up at about 5 by awoman in the throws of labour. Nice. So I started timing the contractions and the like. 5.30 we decide, "Shit, time to call the mid wide".

Jump in the Senator and hightail it through to Middlemore. Midwife and 3 staff waiting in the carpark with a heap of catching equipment just in case. "Ah-ah, get her off my leather seats first!"

So they chuck Riff raff in a wheelchair and head upstairs. 08:38 Birannah Jean Mair arrives, has a bit of a squake then latchs on for some boob juice.

    14:00 hours, we're home.

Piece of piss, dunno what all the fuss is about actually.

Complete opposite to Keirans arrival, that's for sure.

Pics to follow, I need a we sleep after that morning.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Happy congrats to the whole family. In't it nice when it all goes straightforward and you think "what a piece of cake"....(well, most mums fresh outta labour wouldn't probably say that).

All the best for the sleepless nights to come!
