DIY suspension adjustment

Good evening.

My name is Joe Average, i have average mechanical knowlege.

I went out and bought an (average) GSXR600 and would like to adjust the suspension to better suit me. I am doing the occasional weekend blast through the waitaks and a few track days.

Where do i start?

I first step is set the sag, and if possible setting the settings to factory if possible

And best thing, if you got no idea what you doing, take it to a friend or someone who knows what they are doing, and watch and learn what they do, so then you can do it yourself.

Suspension is a bit of a dark art, and comes down to personal prefence, some people like slighty softer, others like hard
But getting the static sag set correctly and going from there is a good start, many bikes from BRAND NEW, come with supension not equal (i have noticed this on a number of bikes).
