Harley axes jobs amid sales drop

Harley Davidson is to axe 700 jobs and ‘significantly’ cut shipments to dealers during 2008.

Reporting a 2.5% reduction in their 1st quarter profit, Chief Executive Officer Jim Ziemer added there is "no sign of when things will turn around" for the economy.
