This sounds like fun. How to get on this boat ? Is it cheaper ? Is it generally available to the public ?

I don't think that boat is on the run anymore. Was called the Arahanga. Was the same as the other ferries, but carried more freight and had only limited passenger facilites, intended mainly for truck drivers.
