I have a pair of Suzuki RGV250 K/L SP Forks that require 2 x fork caps with adjustable preload and compression. Does anyone have any ideas on where to find some here or overseas? Thanks.

Good luck, you are going to need it.
Maybe Dan at DSracing has connections that could get you them new, send him an email from his site.

hope that helps.
Thanks mate, will give them a go.
The clickers on the rear of the forks work well and would be for rebound correct and the clickers on top of the forks be compression? Do they actually not work or just old and liable to seize? Can you clarify the rebound situation? Its probably just me and the way I'm reading it.
Cheers, J.
I think we have some from a couple wrecked RGV's. They may have been scrapped though.
Try ringing us and speak to Pat.

OK, here goes. The clickers on the top of the forks are rebound damping adjusters. I'm talking about the small screw head in the center, the other adjustment at the top, (this is around said screw head, and has two flats for using a spanner on) is the spring pre load adjuster.
On the rear shock however, the rebound adjustment is at the bottom of the shock body.
Hope that clears things up a bit. Not sure if the RGV has compression damping adjustments or not, but will be found at the wheel end of the forks, and the top of the rear shock if present.
The clickers on the top of those forks are compression dampening adjusters,They are conventional forks not upside down
You are a hazard to other motorcyclists. On ALL forks, the top adjusment is REBOUND damping!
JNR, please PM Robert Taylor and he'll confirm what I've said. Do not play with these things at random, the consequences can be costly.
As a side note, I'd quite like anyone reading this to browse RTs' suspension threads to learn some very usefull information.
Ooops,I stand corrected. You are 100% correct Drew.Still every day you dont learn something is a wasted day,Guess that means I can go home now
Cheers guys for clearing it all up.
