Smile Stuff you're looking forward to this year....

Just thought I'd post a wee thread about things I'm looking forward to over this coming year, and inviting others to share the same!

    Things I'm looking forward to:

New Metallica album (don't know if it will be any good or not but at least curious to give it a listen)

Star Wars: Clone Wars Animated Series (love the current animated series, looking forward to checking out the new CG one. Yes I'm a geek!)

Batman: The Dark Knight (loved Batman Begins, curious to see this)

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 (still no definite on this but I loved the first series, the second is a strong possibility)

Being able to say I've been at my job for a year....first decent job I've had for that long. All the others haven't worked out so it's nice things have changed.

Getting all my bills paid off...dunno if that's all going to happen this year but I'll at least make a pretty huge dent in them this year.

Seeing if I get my US Green Card in May which would mean a lifetime pass to the USA and back.

Being able to afford new tyres on the bike...can't wait for this!!!

So that's my list, or at least all I can think of right now...what's yours?

    Cheers,

    JG84.

Where abouts in the states are you going, firefighter?

I spent a few months last year mainly in Southern California, it was really nice but my favourite place was Nashville, Tennessee...that was beautiful.

Fly into San Francisco then connect to Vegas this tuesday, in Vegas for 3 1/2 weeks then off to L.A for a few days (knotts berry Farm, and 6 flags yeah!) then driving from L.A back up to San Francisco for 4 days, my old man has been living in Las Vegas for about 17 years, and has managed to get me in for a day with their Fire Department riding on the trucks (as a red hat but no worries) and another day in a Police squad car so that'll be awesome!

Wow dude that's cool! If your Dad has been living there for that long you might be able to apply for a permanent resident's visa...ever thought about doing that?

Hope you won't have too much of a problem being on the other side of the road, and watch out for the ridiculously oversized American pick up trucks and stuff...there's lots of those damn things over there.
