Eggzkery. Didn't know Troy, but have known others. One that comes to mind.....did the perfect showoff wheelie, came down in time for the corner....
whoops, side stand still down = instant catapult onto the rocks at Eastbourne
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

No, he was calling you a 'moron'. And if he was Bugs Bunny, he might have called you a 'maroon'.

The big deal with grammar is that, unfortunately, there are a bunch of literary eddicated grumpy old farts on this forum. If you're a good chap who doesn't annoy them, they don't mind typos and grammatical stuff-ups. But if you come across as a twat, be prepared for the occasional prod about the fact that your communication style paints you as one of the great unwashed.

You see, respecting the sanctity and importance of language isn't anal. It's what we do as a rearguard action against the stupidity of the mob.

If the grammar police don't like what they're reading, I'm sure its no problem for them to shake their head quietly, sigh to themselves, and just move on. Not everyone needs to subscribe to their ideals. Hey, thats what makes us individuals.

The ongoing degradation of written and spoken language is a terrible thing.
