Daisy, don't mention cleavage eh - Danegrous will read this thread later on 2nite, and he didn't get his nickname from his riding style. Put it this way, there isn't enuff cleanex in the local pak'n save once he gets exited - especially if your a local and there's a chance he may actually meet you.

Whoops, did I miss an earlier post or is there another reason for the echo?

yeah, tithing is a tenth but Jesus made it pretty clear that he had come not to destroy the law but to fulfil it. I'm not going to quote the passage and verse here (I saw how various people responded to Zed doing that so I see no point) but beleive me when I say its pretty clear that it is still a biblical principle to be applied in this day and age for christians that are serious about their faith.
As for tithing being a 'tax', how else do you think they managed to build and the upkeep of a temple and provide for the priests? Yes, the pharisee's abused it (I know someone is going to bring them up) but the principle is sound.

One tenth is more reasonable than what some of the PI churches hit their parishioners up for. Just look at what happened at Hunters Corner. Unbelievable!
