Hey there Joliet. My mate Mike had an RD50 when I was 16. He rode it to school every day and I was so jealous. It got me interested in bikes and made me determined to get one of my own ( much to my Dads delight and my Mums horror ). Hope you enjoy it! Even though you can ride them on a car learners i would still look at doing a bike BHS course as you learn some valuable skills that will help you stay safe on the road. Good luck!

Awesome she's probably going to get a lot of attention because I'll be taking her to Polytech every day so hopefully it'll get a few more people into biking.

Yeah I'm looking into taking a basic handling lesson or course of some sort because like you say, it'll teach me some valuable skills.

Yup! And the sooner you start on getting your bike licence, the sooner you'll be able to upgrade to an RD125, or 250!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

Thats definitely the plan. I'm really falling for my wee Yamaha .. It'll be nice to upgrade to the bigger models of the same bike

Yeah, it's definitely one for the "cool wall", for sure. I'd tend to keep it when you do upgrade...

Yeah hopefully I'll be able to keep it, though I may need the revenue before can actually upgrade (poor student) but yes, would be nice if I could keep her for a while
