What exactly do you mean by rip you off?

As far as im concerned all the shops in town are good. Just go to the shop you normally deal with. Im sure they will do a good job.

Sadly, if you can't do it yourself, you might as well get yourself lubed up and prepared for penetration. Whatever way you look at it, you're gonna have your pants pulled down over the price...

They all have good technicians in place, so bite the bullet and get it done sooner rather than later. It's cheaper than the alternative.

I think TSS is the Yamaha dealer right now, but let your fingers do the walking and get some quotes.

For anything I dont do myself I go to Boyles on Adelaide Road. Have no problems with the Lower Hutt based ones but its too inconvenient for me to get out there.

What does the service involve? If it's only a simple oil and filter change, do it yourself. Plenty of people here will advise, you end up learning something and there is the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
You can get bike oil filters at Supercheap now, got one last weekend for the KLR -$12 IIRC
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Yep. Boyles in town, TSS and Motomart in the Hutt.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

If you haven't used a bike shop for awhile just be prepared to pay $80 an hour and over $50 for oil etc etc.

I haven't heard anything bad about any of the shops in Wellington or the Hutt, I'm sure any of them will look after you.
