I want to thank those who were able to help out those involved in the accident yesterday and stayed & supported everyone & made sure all got to Cust (apart from the the one that had to take the bus) It was lucky it wasn't worse.
There were some amazing people who stayed with injured rider until the Dr & Ambo arrived. hope they see this.

Also thanks to B & Mrs B for helping me out on the way home owe ya & to the other Trumpy rider & her guest for hanging out.

Yeah I'm OK and the bike and I came out better than the poor HD and it's rider.

I was so lucky and only have a sore foot and back.
The bike will get repaired in a few weeks or so, so pulled the Guzzi out of the shop and still have a bike to ride.
And Street and Sport will let me ride a Triumph demo bike at the next RAT ride. (thanks Guys)

Thanks also to those people that stayed to help and support us.

It would have been a great day and I do not blame the HD rider (or the 4X4 driver) as she (and he) was riding (and driving) OK and just got court out by the sudden braking on the straight road by all the bikes.
Why everyone suddenly braked I'm not sure.

It may have been a good thing that there was a 4X4 in front of me or there would have been a lot more bikers down.

I hope she has a speedy recovery and is riding again soon and she now owes me bourbon. (and I'll buy her one to)
Feel the fear and do it anyway

    Don't confuse education with intelligence.
There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.

Not the way I wanted to meet people...

Hey SDU and all the others that stayed behind to help with that lady. I was on the wee GN at the front of the next pack.

Huge thanks to the lady who stayed by the lady's side (head really) the whole time and even bigger thanks to the ex paramedic who was able to take over from me and really sort her out till St Johns arrived.

Was a terrible shame that it happened but it showed me how tight knit and giving the riding world is.

To the injured lady - Hope to see you back on two wheels soon.

Happy and safe riding to everyone - I have avo off work and I'm off for a ride!

Thanks Steve for the huge help for the HD rider. She really appreciated your support.
Not the best way to meet people but we met some good people that day.
Lemans bike (Trimuph Daytona) should be ready soon and his foot was good in no time. We hope next time we meet you will be incident free.

because were old, hairy, obnoxious and believe that the journey is more important than the destination, or we are just bad riders, you were watching you make the call *insert really smiley smiley*.

Mind you, I was just in front of some sporty's up to Belfast. Some dude, in front of me on a HD, had a pillion taking pics with his cell and he was all over the road. Llama blew passed him but I felt better running parachute for the guy.

It was a good ride, nice day out and chance to see some very nice scoots.

I'm sorry for the lady in the prang but good on you guys for helping her .

Love from an old, hairy, obnoxious, slow HD rider
Voted most likely to be asked to give an after dinner speach at a bulemic's function

It is good to put a name to a face Thanks for your help too!
I think her bike is still in the shop.
She was going to give us a call when herself & bike are ready to go for ride. Her & her partner are nice people.
