    Need RVF400 wiring loom..oh &

I'm hip deep in a project that's keepin a mechanics family fed.. I need an RVF400 loom for a brand new HRC CDi unit..

Oh & I also need either a new RVF400 engine or advice on a full engine service..the rings are going going gone -ish

I was lucky enough to buy a bad deal..required 2k of service work to prevent it being a death trap..have HRC Carb jet kit running 141 needles & Tyga performance carbon can.

after the engine is replaced I'm going for fixing the paint/bodyworks to Castrol racing in honour of messier Slight ~off topic ~ here ends my rant

    Help
If I had a GF I'd like only ride 5 times a week!

Do you have a wiring loom already that doesnt work for what you want or do you not ahve a wiring loom at all. I dont have a spare loom but I do have an engine unless chrislost wants it.

Yeah I have no loom as i was swindled on a bad/dodgy import..everything but the engine/carbs are RVF..so it has an NC30 engine with bad rings..and going by the bill/work just complete I think all the parts came from different piles from a thai wrecker.....

Still after all the work it goes mental quick..need the engine I think..what kind of condition is yours i.e Km's etc

I am keen to get this sort of work sorted so its all & for summer

I have two nc35 engines that are good. One with 44000 the other not sure but in better condition. Will keep the one in better condition. I have only one right hand side engine cover so want to keep that as well. So engine will be minus right hand engine cover.

    Carbs and airbox are there.

I think your nc 30 right hand side engine cover will fit the nc35 unless someone cares to put me right

Do you have any other parts that you wish to barter. Could take part trade if you are interested??
I need side and lower fairings, front indys, tassles and .........

Whats your price? & are you interested in having the old NC30 block & the original cutoff zorst can ..(without carbs)?

My preference is to have an solid "workin" engine and I'm not to fussed about the 44k peice..but still curious as the definition of the "other 1 is better"

digin the air box as the top rim left side for the air duct/fairing pipes is broken so the pipe doesn't stay on.

    So ... whats the cost?

No loom unfortunatly. Both engines are similar but the lower ks (33000) is out of the bike I am re registering and has an engine number.
The other works fine the same but has 44000 and the engine number was ground off by robberers

Dont need other engine. Just lower and side need fairings and to figure out why my spark plug in no 1 cylinder keeps dying. Think it is the electrics?

Was after $500 for the engine

And have some front forks and triple things(yokes) for nc 35 if anyone wants them for $700 in mint nick

ahh this is sounding very promising

I need to chat to some mechs on the cost for the change over.. price looks good..but I really need to source an RVF loom to go forwards on this..

Don't need forks..but Econohonda might give u a price.. I saw heaps of panels & bits for sale via a UK website..oh & also one in the yappie land.. I'll check in files at work 2mara (try to..v busy day)

two places to check..attenuator (gawd i hope not) and the other is a combination of a lose pin on the crank/piston head that could be frying the spark due to drainage in the sumpsame prob mine had I rode my bike around taupo from Welli in a day (1st day i had it) and the entire time it was running on three cylinders!!

managed to drag of a couple of holdens tho

apparently the shop (no name & shame) in Auck had serviced this bike..but I can't see how as the cylinder had almost fallen off the crank and the rocker cover was on backwards

What mechanic in their right mind!!

yes this girl has caused me some questions..maybe might just give up & get a woman instead? lol

I'll let you know soon as tho ~ cool?

Easy for some.. not for all

So I'd need to find the loom for an RVF.. get all the required bits off old engine (as required) put on the current carbs/or stick with what you got (rvf carbs) then put her back in?!

dude..i would be keen to work on/with ya for the learning experience & pay you for the work (at a rate) and buy the engine etc..you can have a look at fairings etc..

& if your happy with it..we can sort out a good little contract so I'll pay you ...negotiate.. 10 payments of $75 each fortnight...till you got $750?!

You can then get the left overs for auction/sale to wreckers or use etc..then yo ucan let me know what needs to be done on the fairings for a Castrol job..& we can sort out the cost for doing that kinda work as well

    thoughts?
