Luwak Coffee

Never heard of this shit before, and it is shit, this coffee is collected from the arse of a Luwak...It eats the beans and once they have passed through its digestive system, it is collected then roasted, and then its for sale????

A couple of months ago I stopped at the magnificent tea rooms at Herveys Range (which is just out of Townsville i.e. northern QLD).

They had kopi luwak on the menu and even though it was $50 a cup, I figured it was worth a go.

It is actually quite nice coffee. But I reckon the regular espresso at my local place in Melbourne (Coffea) is just as good.

I love a good coffee! Have to say though, paying $50 for a coffee would not even enter my radar! Have to be fishy (or shitty) for someone to ask that price surely!
