Do you want it for proper off-roading, or just as a general look-at-me-I'm-cool-mobile?
If the latter, you probably already know whether you want it or not... if the former I can give useful information, if you care.
Which model year is it?

How bout the MR2? Especially the turbo or GT version? They go like stink and are a lot of fun down a twisty road. Mid-engine rear wheel config gives amazing handling. But there are only 2 seats. I think it looks great too.... closest thing we have to a ferrari (looks plus engine placement, etc). And then there's Toyota Reliability. Check out http://mr2.org.nz for more info if you wish.
Might be an option... depends wot turns up... could quite fancy an Alfa.... just fancy something "different" ..... no rush so will look around over xmas...Originally Posted by justsomeguy

hehehe - it's a real fun car and it handles like a go kart - not too great for cross country trips though.
Look if u get something really special - like an old porsche 15-25,000 - it'll be a blast to drive but may make you cry when it's time to get it serviced.
What's your budget?
Budget is what ever the Ford is worth, about £6000 ($150000) Mini, na been there done that. There is a Merc A class in a garage, might have a look at that.... as for the big car small car thing...Originally Posted by justsomeguy
