    Can't get tyres

    Hi all.
I am having trouble finding a decent rear tyre for my bike. I ride a 1989 Yamaha FJ1200. The rear tyre size is a 150/80/16, I have metzeler lasertechs on at the moment and it doesnt seem to take much for them to let go mid corner. If anyone has or currently rides on this size tyre any help would be helpful.
    Thanks

I have heard the Avons are good for that bike, but best to wait for someone who has actually riden that bike on them before to post!

I have a GSX1100F which uses that size, I have always run Pirelli sport demons front and rear and have found them excellent.

I'll second the Sport Demons. Slide a little until fully warm but great predictable tyres that give good feedback to the rider.

Run a Bridgestone B45 on the rear but keep the Metzler on the front , they work well as a combo .

You running them on your RS? They're cheap, stick like shit to a blanket, and refuse to wear out

16" wheels? Blimey, and I thought 17" wheels were small (that's Honda Cub size ).

Just a thought for you. Try fitting a gsxr1100 rear rim --aparently it basicly slots right on in--and bingo--17'' rear

Nah I have a TT900(not that great I reckon) and a pirelli sport demon(it's ok) on my CB, it came with them. I'm gonna put 39's on it probably, as they are more racing like. I think I'll go for a 2.5" for the front as that is what is in stock!

    I run BT45's on my RZ350, they're real awsome.
