    White Christmas!?

    I thought that seeing it looks like we might have the novelty of a White Christmas this year in NZ we could post some pictures of the weather in your region at the moment!

    I'll kick it off with a picture of the hail lying on the road outside my place in central Auckland at 8am this morning! Nice tyre tracks - don't think I'll get the RF out just yet!

    Did anybody get any pictures of the lightning last night?

    I expect those of you further south to outdo this photo quite quickly!

    Where's the

    Ahhhh...summer in Godzone. Don't even need a fridge for the beer. Now if I could just find out where we can get studded tyres.......
    Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    this photo was taken at 3pm yesterday afternoon, at the end of my driveway (with 4X digital zoom)

    {edit}I must add that that mountain is only 1800m high ( MT ruapehu is 2800m), so snow on it is quite rare, and thats the lowest i have seen it for ages,{/edit}

    Ahhh, my mountain. Shot, as is often the case, from the wrong angle.

    Theres a pretty good dump of snow on the Rimutakas - probably miles from the road, but I cans see it from the end of our street in Upper Hutt.
    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
