    Did my bit today

Well I got a late text about a ride to Ackers today so at 9am jumped on the bike and headed off. First stop coffee at Halswell, them a nice run thru the fog and mist to Little River, most of the way with my visor up (very cold). Anyway 2nd stop coffee at LR and I wander round the back to the loo, where there is a queue. A lady tells me she lost her motorcycle virginity today, (as a pillion) on a friends Honda VFR800....lovely bike I tell her, then she says her hubby has just sold his Buell and is looking at a Harley. I convinced her 100% that a VFR800 is the perfect 2up bike for her hubby. Along came her 'riders'wife (of the VFR owner) and also said NO Harley, and all of a sudden GOD swept away the fog and mist and created a wonderful sunny day. He obviously was smiling down on us !

I'd agree with that, unfortunately he wasn't going to get another Buell, so I went with my instinct and convinced wifey that the VFR she was pillion on was 'the one'
