Did ya'll notice he was riding a Yamaha XV1700 Warrior trike. Big Yin is showing some common sense in his latter years - he should shed that extra wheel though.

    Cool

    Helmets on trikes....
Doesnt it depend on whether is it is registered as a bike/trike or a trike/car ?

Some are registered as a car/trike so no helmet required.

Some are registered as a bike/trike so a helmet is required.

Well thats how I understand the law to read.

So those that own trikes could answer this.

    Where is Meon3 ?
Oh I suppose since Krusti hogs the computer time in their home, he will answer for her....lol.

Dont believe a word of what she says, she's normally too busy playing solitaire on the other putor

Helmets on trikes....Depends who you talk to...All new trikes now come under new class for trikes. Her Royal Highnesses trike is classified as a motorcycle for WOF purposes. Kiwi Trikers reckon they have an exemption form for anyone but I have never seen it. Stupid if you dont wear one tho.

Yes if you put seatbelts etc on trike and manage to register it as a car you dont need one.

Heard that the original trike he tried to bring in wasn't able to be vinned/certified so he borrowed one. Who's gonna give Billy a ticket anyway. You would have to be willing to be made a right fool of wouldn't you?

Dont need helmets on Trikes in the U.K. either.Scotland`s full of mouthy gob-shites like Connelly if you`re a fan of that sort of thing, enjoyed the programme but could have lived without the stand-up bits, never liked his comedy but he`s a pretty good presenter.

Yeah, he had it built specially. Said he would've liked it a little more laid back, was a bit too upright for comfort.
Prefers a 'Boom' ? the real deal VW model.
Might've been the Harley?? (could've been talking about the Yamaha, he moves the convo around pretty quick)that got a 2nd tank under the seat, but design weren't perfect .Bit of a fu*k up in design with the 2nd fuel tank, wouldn't flow thru, so had gas, an still ran out.
Been stuck in a studio all day with the guy, my sides ache, and I've got another day to go tomorrow.
