My GPX must go after falling in love with, and buying a pretty little SRV 250 at Red Baron on Saturday (I went in to buy a new throttle cable and ended up buying a bike)
I was intending to keep the bike even after getting my full licence for use as a cheap commuter. To this end it has been very well looked after, although this is obviously someone else's gain now.
Very good cosmetically, with just one minor scrape on the right hand side from a previous owner's low speed drop (shown in one photo closeup)
This is the Japanese spec RII model with double disc front brakes and a touch more power. A very nice small sporty tourer for someone to learn or commute on. Very smooth, easy to ride and easy on gas (I often see more than 300kms before hitting reserve) It is also not much slower than the CBRs and ZXRs, with a lot more pull down low.
Recent work done:
New DID O ring chain and sprockets (47kms)
Cam-chain and tensioner replaced and valve clearances done (46kms
Front brake calipers rebuilt with new dust seals etc (46kms)
Rear shock replaced with the unit from a GPX600 (47kms)
New clutch and throttle cables.

Tyres are all good, with 50% tread left on the rear and more on the front.
WOF until March next year and registration until February. Nothing to do on the bike, just needs to be ridden.
The bike was bought from a KBer, so it's being offered to kiwibikers first.
