As someone has already suggested, order a 1098R and ride an R1 till it arrives

P.S. How about the new KTM? lol

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Yeah it's pretty rough eh mate?
As I can ride our(work's) demo 1098 whenever I may as well just get a plastic fantastic to suit my track days and won't cry if it goes down the track.

Now then...a 1098R or the RC8(2nd gen.) could tempt me off it in a while

Yeah, but we're going to have to go through this another five or six times this year!

Nah I think things might change re changing bikes so often as I have over 50 at work that I can take out for a play so no real need to change mine so often to refresh the buzz.
    In saying that...

Given the pleasure your job gives you I reckon they should should change the name to GayRide Motorcycles.

    Now what should Chrisy Poos,
For a bike he should choose

An R1 with all the extras
    Plus a tank protector

Or a plain old 1098R Ducati
To keep his old jewels happy

Oh the choices and decisions he is asked to maker
When really he hankers for the 3 wheeler
