    Fantastic kiwi talent!
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I have to say, I hadn't really seen FotC - on too late for someone with a 2-yr old kid - but saw a clip on Teev this morning.

    Damn you, Big the Dave!

I don't like that nostalgia kick - it makes me feel all nostalgic.
    And sad.

I really enjoyed the 70s and early 80s. Best time of my life, in some ways (bikes, birds, booze, toldless parties, etc etc.)

I remember now - BLERTA turned up at our high school one day, set up in the grounds, and did a free concert. I've no idea why, but it was very kewl.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Well the times gettin' hard for you little girl
I'm a hummin' and a strummin' all over god's world
You don't remember when you got your last meal
And you forgot just how a woman feels
You didn't know what rock n' roll was
Until you met a drummer on a greyhound bus
I got there in the nick of time
Before he got his hands across your state line
