Thumbs up My idea, 100% waterproof gloves!!!

So here I was, getting home yesterday after the first day of really bad weather that I had to ride in since last winter, thinking about how much I hated my winter gloves, they aren't even waterproof and since they're so big and padded I have no feel whatsoever for the throttle and clutch etc! And I had an idea... Sorry if pic quality is bad, took them with my phone.

But pretty much, pic 1 + pic 2 = pic 3 = 100% Waterproof leather armoured gloves, with no reduction in "feel".

Great idea! ...It will run sweet for short runs, but on longer ones, you'll find yourself with sweaty palms however.

and of course, don't let anyone see you put them on...they might think you want to give them an internal

good idea, maybe you could go one step further and try plastic bags on your feet inside your boots, keeps your socks dry.

Great idea - but a summer weight glove will not cut it in the South Island over winter (expecting a 'high' of 10 in Christchurch today - yep TEN).

BUT add a set of heated grips + your idea and you'll be set.

Maaahahaha! That's quite funny-looking. But practical, very practical.

You'll be giggled at, but you will indeed have dry hands.

Yeah this is pretty much just for commuting the 40k to uni each way if it's raining, haven't tried yet but I'm thinking I'll prob be able to take the gloves off with the latex still on and then put them back on together too ...

Also, you can just chuck a pair of latex gloves under your seat or in your pocket so that rain can never catch you out again in terms of getting wet gloves

Might get a little sweaty dude, and the surgy glove wont keep your hands warm as the sweat gets chilled and you get cold.

    BUT WAIT !!!

for the last year Ive been working on a new Glove and it arrived this week

    Full Leather outer, reinforced palms
    TPU knuckle and finger armor
    Full Thinsulate innner
    Hipora waterproof system

so you can now buy a full leather armoured glove that is waterproof and warm !!!

I will post pics etc soon and announce these and other new products just in, but I need a new name for the gloves first (writers block)
Ive run out of fucks to give

Well my jacket reaches my wrist and my glove, since my hands are lower than my shoulders, the water will be running down my jacket and then down over my glove.

Anyhow, I'm not trying this for a "winter" glove as such, just as a waterproof autumn/spring option if you get caught out in the rain or for that 20min commute.

tuck your glove cuff inside your jacket sleeve.

quasi... im looking forward to seeing those gloves. my current ones are all armoured, but long enough in the rain, and i cant feel much beyond my thumb, lol.

The best 100% waterproof material on the market is your skin
It is very waterproof, but it kinda feels the cold I guess
