Members is everyone that has signed up to KB. I believe admin removes accounts older/inactive than 6 months and that have never posted.
Active, something around logging in recently etc.
To see attachments to posts you have to be signed in, so there are plenty of lurkers just seeking some information.

Looking at the member list, you have to get to 813 of 1028 pages before the post counts get into double figures.

I think a lot of people sign up to learn some new things but there maybe new riders with questions about good learner bikes or places to practice etc.etc... who join - ask their question - then never sign back in, then become inactive.
