I've never been a big Hayden fan but I'm likin' the kid more and more.

All the shit that is coming out with Pedrosa and Puig running the Repsol team, their demanding access to everyone elses data but not likewise is raising Hayden in my estimation. Not many could live/work in that environment and still carry themselves the way he has.

I still think Rossi is a freak but for Hayden to take a risk on the Duke rather than take a cushy ride on another Honda says a lot about his willingness to have a go.

My two wishes for next season:

    1) Rossi wins an epic championship battle with an amazing last race, last corner pass.
    2) Pedrosa sees nothing but Ducati tyre smoke as Hayden creams the lil' prick all year

Stoner's age 23. Rossi's age 29. Stoner's an up-and-coming rider - while Rossi's goin the other way. That's just how it will be.

Doubt you'd call what Rossi did this year an ass kicking mate!

An ass kicking is what Stoner did to Rossi last year!

Are you try to tell me Rossi's had and it and his career is kaput? He has a fair bit of life left there yet, yeah Stoner will race on after Rossi retires but I seriously don't think you'll see his career rise to the hights Rossi's has and lets not forget Rossi has'nt retired yet.

Ahhhh...so if you think 95 points is good...you must surely agree that the 126 points Stoner beat Rossi by last year is/was incredible then yeah?

Yeah 126 was a good margin for sure but we all know Stoner's bike was quicker than the other manufacturer's anyway...

Rossi has the best bike. Anyone can ride that Yamaha yet no-one except Stoner can ride that duke.
    Bring on '09.

Ofcourse he has the best bike....It's a Yamaha so that goes without saying but the does'nt mean it's the quickest, that is very much up for debate.
So we can put you firmly in the Rossi basher camp then can we?

Thanks for that Bill, 8 times World Champion and aiming for 9 huh ?

09 will be a good battle for Red team, they have to decide who's going to come second to Yamaha !!!!! Gaz.

Rossi did have pretty shit luck last year, and Stoner had some pretty bad luck towards the end of this season too, however i'd put some of those crashes in the last couple of races partly down to him being under pressure from Rossi after 'the crack' at Laguna Seca.

What we do all know is that next year should prove to be VERY interesting!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
