Cheers for that, I was reading on the net today that Pedrosa had jumped off and wouldn't take part in any further testing. Hayden liked some aspects of the new motor they were going to compare with the old(and fast) motor.
But yes, with testing they could be using anything and everything. Gaz.

Spies to stand in for injured Capirossi at British Grand Prix

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP will give reigning American Superbike Champion Ben Spies his MotoGP debut at next weekend’s British Grand Prix, following confirmation that Loris Capirossi will be unfit for the Donington race.

The 23-year-old American from Longview in Texas was due to make his Rizla Suzuki MotoGP debut as a wildcard rider at next month’s USGP in California, but he has been drafted in early to replace Capirossi who suffered a broken right hand at Catalunya last weekend. Capirossi is now targeting a return at the following weekend’s race at Assen in The Netherlands and will continue to work on his fitness to try and achieve this goal.

Which is great in that when he gets to ride the bike again at Laguna he's already had a bit of a 'get to know you' session!

We'll see if he is any better Bill, but the quivering bottom lip has lots of bad memories when fighting with VR.
Spies in GP will be interesting Crasher, I haven't read much about him other than his AMA results. Gaz.

Yeah I saw him in action last year at Laguna and I've gotta say he is one hard charging MoFo!!

Revvin Kevin certainly seems to think he's the next big thing...so should be interesting. As long as Suzuki have the smarts to hang onto him!

    Gaz.
Giday Gaz. I was at PI when Sete came 2nd to Val. The body language on the rostrum was priceless. No handshakes or even any eye contact. Sete was spewing and certainly did not hang around...........

And yes Pete. Spies progress will be watched with great interest. Me - I think he will have the goods. If he can beat the hardnosed Miladin, he's got the goods alright..........

He's made a pretty impressive start mate! I'm sure Donnington is one of the harder tracks to learn too!

Nice one! I'd say that at Laguna he's a long shot for a few bucks at the TAB!

I mean...he doesn't have to worry about points for the season etc...he's gonna want to show everyone just what he can do!

    Bring it on.

Stoner and Ducati seemed to have found the problem!
