I look forward to Stoners return Bill , but there's lots of young fellas biting at his bum with bikes so close. We'll have to see, time will tell huh?
Keep your red hat on, Kallio is good. Gaz.
Giday Gaz. Yeah, count on nothing! Not the way I expected Stoner's season to be, but it looks like he'll bounce back. Kallio gets a chance and I'm real pleased for him. Watch this space........

Hey if I don't catch up before Friday, we're off to tour E/Europe - so my visits here will be most infrequent.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

I really thought Lorenzo would be mentally strong enough to handle Rossi, but it would appear I'm wrong.....

Don't count him out yet, Rossi did the same sort of thing and has come back to win another title.
Wouldn't be racing if it wasn't for:MotoMart, Pirelli, EBC Brakes, Ripecoffee.co.nz, Slotmedia.co.nz, Totalbodyshop.co.nz and Wurth

Yeah I reckon once Lorenzo finally wins one of these mind game battles there will be no stopping him. At the moment Rossi has it over him and knows he can beat him. If Lorenzo ever gets one over him he'll realise he can do it.

    just got this from superbikeplanet

'Brno, Monday morning, 10.30 exactly. Andrea Dovizioso rolls out of the Repsol pit garage with Ohlins forks in his
factory Honda. The schedule says that Dani Pedrosa will get his turn at 2pm.'

Don't forget they were constantly breaking the old lap record. They weren't mucking around!

Did anyone else notice Lorenzo's bike developing front end chatter early on in the race?

I'd be surprised if you could see it. Lorenzo crashed because he saw rossi coming up the inside and braked too late. The second he went off the well worn part of the track (i.e. racing line where all the rubber is) the front end folded. "Chatter" (although whenever someone has a front end tuck these days its caused by chatter) wouldn't usually cause a front end tuck under brakes. It is more a mid corner when you are off the throttle or coming onto it.

He simply went too fast. Was a good race up to that stage though. I think he had the speed but we'll never know.

Vale sure was animated after that epic fight. Felt for Jorge, who is surely the next best thing.
Elias had a great result but too little too late, to save his ride next year.
Wonder if Stoner will cope with the Yamahas when he returns from having his palms read ? G.

When you're the young hopeful called up to stand in for the star while he's out of action, you want to impress but there's not a lot of pressure. You don't have to go as fast as the star, you don't have to get a podium, you don't have to beat your team mate. There's only one thing you really have to do: not break the bike. And if you do break the bike, don't do it again. Fail.

I think Lorenzo might get to be very good, a champion even.
Rossi has shown one several occasions this season however, not least at Catalunya, that he is still the master and Lorenzo very much the pupil.

It's time Yamaha introduced team orders before Lorenzo fucks up and takes Rossi down, and in a worst case scenario, potentially costing Yamaha the championship.

Would be the prudent thing to do I reckon....time to consolidate the 1-2 position, work on a 1,2,3 end of season result maybe?

Noooooooo! You guys like watching Formula 1 do you? Jorge is the only bloke that can challenge Rossi, tell him he isn't allowed to pass..... that would get boring real quick.

For fuck's sake like Lorenzo would listen if Yamaha did tell him that.
Compare Pornography now to 50 years ago.
Then extrapolate 50 years into the future.
