What I reckon is sad to see is that there are only 17 bikes on the grid.

"Faster" on Documentary Channel: Narrated by Ewan McGregor.
The 'friendliest' time for us is - 1300 to 1500 tomorrow, Monday
FASTER is the first feature-length documentary to go inside the MotoGP world since television took a sport watched by a few thousand spectators at race tracks and turned it into prime-time entertainment for over 350 million people worldwide.
Filmed around the world during the 2001 and 2002 seasons, FASTER asks this question: How do you go faster than the rest, how do you win at this glamorous, dangerous game? The movie could be subtitled: How do you beat Valentino Rossi? The 24 year old Italian, seven times world champion, dominates MotoGP. He is the biggest star the sport has ever seen and the charismatic centre of the film.
In addition to Rossi, FASTER focuses on three other MotoGP riders: Rossi’s bitter rival Max Biaggi; the brilliant but injury-prone Garry McCoy; and the rising teenage star John Hopkins. Their stories reveal both the ecstasy and the terror of life in the insanely fast lane, as do the tales told by a supporting cast of former world champions including Mick Doohan, Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, Kenny Roberts and Barry Sheene.
“Faster” does the job. Motorcycle fans will surely drool and gape, but the rest should also walk away smiling. At the least if you are not a motorcycle racing fan you should come away impressed. At one point in the film the riders are compared to gods. After seeing how they perform on the track, how they survive wrecks without a roll cage, and how they manage to control a motorcycle that they need help climbing on before traveling 200 miles per hour—well, it is hard to reduce that description to hyperbole.” Film Threat.
Starring Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Garry McCoy, John Hopkins
Music by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Another win for K14, Crasher and Bill,( I can hear it from here. ) but I'm ok with second after a third row start. I couldn't help but watch in amazement as the Duc looked like it was on rails.
Good for Rossi though, nearly halfway and a 20 point lead, he's still fighting.
Gaz.
Its getting damm interesting , My hearts with Rossi - he looks fit, skinny & hungry. Plus he is one of the few out there that even when he biffs it away - he picks it straight up & will have another go if its at all possible (a rare thing at that level).
My heads with Stoner, - He still comes across as the underdog & the package of him & team appears to be building momentum. I was surprised at there slow start to the season (maybe they have gone backwards to move forwards........) Stoners habit though of crashing in practice (whilst admirable in respect to finding the limit), - may well cost him (aka Lorenzo......)
If it turns pear shaped for both of these guys (possibly at the same time together on the track), - then that fast little mexican will pick up the scraps.
GO THE KAWASAKIS !.................. :-) (just cos they are green & look cool)
Still stickin to my Stoner - Rossi - Sulky Spaniard, title result...........
And pretty confident![]()
