Well everyone is very tight lipped, melandri's manager has said they have agreed to cancel the 2009 contract but he still reckons he will see out the year. Hard to know what is going to happen, it probably won't be announced till next week.

Good god, now Marco HAS got a problem??

    Meanwhile:
The Barcelona-based magazine Solo Moto has announced on the online version of the publication that American Colin Edwards has signed a renewal of his contract with the Yamaha Tech3 team for the 2009 MotoGP season.

Although widely rumored in the Sachsenring Paddock, Edwards and Yamaha officials said that no deal had been done. Attempts to reach Yamaha Tech3 and Colin Edwards have been unsuccessful.

According to the unsigned Solo Moto article, Edwards will work closely with Valentino Rossi in spite of being on the Tech3 team instead of the Fiat Yamaha team. At present the Tech3 team of Edwards and Britain's James Toseland use Michelin tires, as does Rossi´s teammate Jorge Lorenzo, while Rossi is the only Yamaha rider on Bridgestone tires.

Actually, still my house and you can't miss it. It's the only Ducati Red house in the street.

BTW Gaz, if you're goin to take up my wager, you'd best buy a tent before the weekend - as I would feel bad to see the Gaz family with no fixed abode next week.

How do you think Stoner would go on a Yamaha or for that matter Rossi on the Ducati?
