Hi Jeff. Dont talk to me about brake pads on them things, i started the season out with good pads in the front, wheeled the bike into the garage Sunday night and there was a weird noise coming from the front wheel. So removed the brake calipers and holy shit !!!!!! iam discussed with myself no sign of any pads left..... down to steel on steel how the hell the bike braked i dont know.
Any way i have just got some of Dave Freeman $55.00 for the Vesrah brand, same as what i use on the 400.
Cheers Mate.
Hey Bud
do ya know that front and rear pads are the same.......... so you can do a swap to get most out of both. most Rg rear are like new just need scuffing a bit usually.
all sorted thanks to daniverk suzuki. got them for $70. bit more than what i was expecting.
Use "Metalgear" PR 55. They are cheap (around $30), last well and very very good. Progressive and powerful. The genuine Suzuki ones are hopeless, and the other expensive "name" brand ones are no better than "metalgear"
(not as good actually)
Get them from Pitlane Motorcycles.
Any Suzuki dealer will be able to source your requirements. Or check out a company called Forbes and Davies
