You should come and take a look at my tank sometime, you've seen "clean" but have you seen "natural clean" ? - where everything is so balanced and in sync with each other in a self contained ecosystem that the plants actually make the water cleaner, and fish that clean... as well as ensuring just the right amount of the various gasses are present in the right quantities!

I reckon we'd need a few for a feed so he'd better get them breeding cause there are plenty of mouths to feed around here.
