We get frequent queries from members who are disappointed that their names have not appeared in the birthday list on the homepage. Invariably, this is down to their own personal profile settings.
In your User CP, click on Edit Profile.
You will see a place where you can enter your date of birth.
Directly under that is a drop-down menu, giving several privacy options. Some people like to keep their age secret, but allow their birthday to be known. Others are happy for their age to be known, but keep their birthday private.
Select the option that suits your own wishes.
Remember to click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.
One point to realise is that it is too late to make changes on your actual birthday. Your name will NOT appear or disappear from the list if you change your preferences on your actual birthday.
