He won't be putting any weight on those knees for while. D'oh.
It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well he did pretty damn well to qualify 4th!! Will be a different story for the race tomorrow though I suspect. Although if it does rain (as forecast) then it may favor him slightly.

How about edwards getting pole! Didn't see that one coming. He'll be on for another solid 5th place hehe.

To my uneducamated racing mind, it appears that he changed his weight and threw his arse over the LHS of the bike a bit early after the previous corner (about 51secs), causing it to slightly lose balance. After that, it was all on.

As usual my bet is for Rossi . Hopefully grip will be consistant for him, not like the last two races.
Your boy Stoner should be up front too , lets hope for dry and a good fight.
    Gaz
    Just thinking out loud Gaz.

Last year it was said that the Ducati was just soooo much better than the rest. Look at the grid for this arvo. See how far back the rest of the Ducati boys are.
I really thought Stoner could have been knocked off his perch by his new team mate this year.
I, along with a few others thought Stoner only looked good against Capo because Capo was past it.
Not so again, look where he is.

And what about the Tornado??? On Michelins.

Well as I said - I will enjoy watching, what ever happens. Sure you will too.
    Cheers
    Bill

    Lorenzo

I've a new found respect for the Chupa Chup sucking Spaniard.

Watching QP and seeing him stuck on the bike (couldn't dismount without aid), having the bike try to buck him off again (find the vid someone, I think the front comes up crossed ) and still qualifying 4th?! How hard? Pretty damn hard.

Another more entertaining moment was Hayden trying to bump start the Repsol after having a bit of a lie down with it. When that wasn't happening, he put on the mad 1500m run around the circuit - in his leathers ; only 15mins or so left in QP you see...

It'll be a mad race, especially if the rain stays. Moley or Elias for the win!
Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

Is there a video of Lorenzo's qualifying save yet? Just read about it, crikey, he apparently had to put his foot down to save another one, too. That boy is riding with some serious painkillers tomorrow, I reckon.

The last time our favourite redneck Texan got a pole position AND it was a wet race day - Le Mans last year (where I will be in a couple of weeks BTW ) , I remember him going from 1st to nearly last by the end of the first lap.

I think it's CE III's curse for snatching that 2002 WSB title from Troy Bayliss!

Interestingly enough, a young Australian fellow with a distinctive mole won that race...

Yeah that seems to be the problem with Colin, even if he qualifies well he seems to stuff up the race. He had some good form in superbikes but has never quite done it in MotoGP - i was just hoping for him like, it would be nice to see him do well before he retires some time.
