    Robert,

News of this has just made the Apriliaforum...I can't believe it took so long with this high speed technology!!!

Seems you are the only one to have done this swap.

Since we are so far away...would you please go into further details regarding what parts were necessary to adapt the Gixxer TTX to the Mille please? I won't be able to bring my bike in

Also...OP...can you take some more detailed pictures of how the TTX mounts to the bike please.

    Thanks Gents

To be honest I never recorded the exact component mix as I thought this would never take off. Now I have done 3 but for me its as simple as walking to the parts bins to find the right mix of components.. But what I can say is we used a Suzuki GSXR1000 TTX36 shock, down to the delivered valving and spring rate. Part number SU788. The whole top of the shock fits including the top distance spacers ( but I will check that )
What you do have to change is the lower end eye and distance spacers and also the boss it screws onto. Not a huge deal. Just a bit busy at present but if you send me an e-mail to robert@crownkiwi.co.nz I will work it out for you.

Going to Race Tech? My mechanic buddy Amauri used to be setup in their facility over there...although I never made it in for a visit.

I emailed ya...regarding what's necessary for the upgrade.

Quote me...possibly we can work it out when you are in town
