For sale: vfr400r nc21 unfinished project

hey putting my vfr400 up for sale asi have lost interest in the project...is currently sitting at my parents place but no pics sorry but to be honest it isnt pretty anyway lol.

it's a project i did bought it in a bad way....took it apart cleaned all the carbys got the fork seals redone...new rear tyre....

painted frame engine etc...all just done with spraycans so not facy...does run but not rideable....

    things that still need doing:

    front brakes bled.....

rear brakes put back on and bled.

    re vin. (is reg lapsed....)

hydrolic clutch needs bleeding...the piston for hydrolic clutch is mounted on sprocket cover....the sprocket cover mount bolts though...one is snapped off in crankcase..... theres in another where thread is striipped so will need a helicoil i think.

once that is fixed shes basically sorted

i have fairings for it ....3 sets of front...2 sets of tail fairings...none are painted and all need repair....

to be honest suits trackbike or parts.

    $1000 o.n.o

sorry about crap pic it's only one i have...yes that me doing a stupid pose for a laugh lol

anyways pm me if your keen...or post any question here so i dont get asked the same q's 5 million times lol

    cheers!

**disco dans dog not included** nor me....

**edit**: good strong engine by the way rode it when i first got it ran well....and as is i had it sitting for a month...hooked up a battery choke on...key on push vstart button...whir vrrom.....not even whir whir.....she fires right up ...

Faster in a straight line maybe, even though my bike has done twice the k's and it didn't have the aid of a lower fairing at the time. I think my VFR would be a fair bit quicker around a track though

That is true, could be a fun hack

Yes, that's it...... Those NC21's are a good bike but im sure its the RIDER that makes a difference around the track.

Skidmark, good luck with the sale. I would consider it if I wasnt going to be racing in Streetstock next year....

Could I get it painted in black to match my ripped black jeans and is there any leather on it for I wear doc martins 10 ups only half laced up. Oh and what do you think about tie dye?

On a more serious note. Whats wrong with the crack case?

Nope, trying to save every penny to buy my own KR or RG. Malcolm will still be racing his RG as well! Hopefully I will actually find one for sale........!

just one of the bolts for the sprocket cover (while holds hydrolic clutch caliper) is snapped of in the hole in the crankcase that it goes into...bolt needs to be drilled out and hole retapped..../ helicoil put in.
