well I,l for one dont like P2P. Download 1G and you have used 3.

stream video and at least you are only using what you are using. There are plenty of apps out there that will save youtube videos locally if you want to save something off the net for some reason.

    That can be managed.

Youtube doesn't have Motogp, recent movies, copyrighted docos etc....

I dunno about "weak willed", many governments struggle with gang related issues and it's more complex than it appears on the surface.

How do you combat a free association of (undesireable) individuals without conmpromising the freedoms of a society in general?

How do you punish gang members when the normal punishment (jail time) is taken as a badge of honour?

Getting someone to testify against their comrades in their closae knit community (out of loyalty or fear) is extremely difficult and their hierarchical structure ensures only "disposable" members face prosecution.

Infiltration operations have proven to be somewhat effective overseas, but place the operative(s) at huge risk, soak up large amounts of time, money and manpower with no guarantee of success.

It's easy to say "let's tackle the gang problem!" but the actual nuts and bolts of it are far more complex.

Youtube has many problems.. Its resolution is arse, its not easily downloadable, and you dont get a nice format at the end of it. They are also copyright content nazis.

When someone makes a youtube like website that allows DVD quality content, downloadable as avi/mpg, and with no content or copyright restrictions then maybe it will be superior. Until then viva le p2p.

That will only remain an issue until NZ removes the Telescum monopoly and let free market forces take over. Then you will be able to get manageable flatrates and decent download rates.

So in 50 years time it may be better

Indeed. Youtube is awesome for wasting time and finding stuff like old forgotten music videos (albeit out of sync), people getting hurt and stuff that blows up.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
