    Round the Mountain

Right, gotta get some k's up and wear out my tyres (11k and still going strong). Heading around the mountain tomorrow.

Leaving here at 8 and meeting Gary at the Feilding BP.

Going right through to Te Kuiti for lunch and may possibly be diversions on the way home. Not mucking around - GC rules in operation. Looking at 600km minimum but want to be home in daylight.

If anyone wants to enjoy the pain and meet first in Palmy let me know otherwise meeting point is in Feilding. Departing Feilding at 8:30.

Have a goodie you GC guys!

I've just got back from Turangi, cleaned out my shed up there and checked on me boat in preparation for a spot of summer fishing

Off to Manfeild tomorrow, see whoever turns up there then

The GC is The Rusty Nuts Grand Challenge - 1,000 miles in 24 hours. Therefore riders can't afford to muck about - you don't need to speed but stopping has to be kept to a minimum as in only when you need gas.

Tomorrow's ride hasn't got anything like that pressure but I'd like to keep things moving as a bit of practice for the GC.

What he's trying to say Sparkles, is that no one from Ashhurst should join him, he's also saying he won't stop at every second corner for a siggy and no latte's either

Any one else up for a smaller ride tomorrow? I'm booked in for the big test Monday at 3pm, and the forecast IS SHIT

Good luck for the test. I need to get some sleep, before I can think about riding. (Stupid insomnia)

Unfortunately I'm minding the kids. May take them to Manfield but riding for me is out. Good luck for the test. You'll be fine, weather or no weather.
