+1, i'd be into a decent day ride or two, like you were saying they've kinda dryed up a bit and that's not mint. Mind you weather has'nt really been conducent a decent day ride alot of the time but whatever, lets get in a decent 500km+ day in sometime soon...

Late notice but i've taken it upon myself to put it out there, early lunch, (11:30) in Tikokino at the Sawyers arms, if any body from this end joins in we can discuss the return route during lunch, in the back of my head (maybe) via wimbledon.

Definitely. The weather has played a role, as has so much on. My roster hasn't helped much lately either but hopefully that will be behind us real soon.

Yep, it's about time to put on the thinking cap and organise a decent ride. Easter may be a good time, and maybe something before that too........Very keen on the Waioeka gorge again. That may have to be an overnighter tho, that way we could squeeze in the east cape while we're there...........

Don't hit F/H the Naki anniversary weekend,(which IIRC is Apiti scamper weekend),the idiots who take a trip in the campervans,cars for the day will cause mayhem.

How bout 2nd weekend in March,not too far away.

2nd weekend in March is the TT2000 and most won't be here. So another weekend will be the ticket. Cars should be banned on the FH!

Had an inkling another ride was organised but can't remember it,nah F/H is fun with tractors(not hogs)4x4 which actually do go offroad,worst is the blind bends (left hand heading to Stratty)and a bloody horse being ridden,luckily rider was hard up against the bank.

Just have to respect the road for what it is,a bloody provincial highway in a rural area requiring care,and is to enjoy,which ya can't do at race speeds.

Brilliant to see you yesterday, James and Monie were stoked too. It was a grand day for it and a nice low key ride back from Tiko. I'd e-mail/message Cowboyz about the boots anyway but I have an idea 11.5's will be a little big but you never know. Looking forward to seeing on a FNR or two before daylight savings runs out on us...
