You do buy them inferior pommy bikes.

Would've been a typical beaut Naki coast ride yesterday, thought about shooting through to Hawera and meeting up on return but went to a couple of pubs instead, was a good arvo.

It was a goody! Hopefully next weekend will be just as nice, though we'll be taking the car for the journey there.

So when are you getting one of those superior pommy bikes?

Unfortunately the local dealer here doesn't trade jap bikes,so the bloody one I wanted was sold, also the trade in was pathetic due to them not selling jappas, but they did have a TL1000 and Hyosung is close to a jappa.

It's absolutely primo out there on the bike. I'm thinking a decent ride is on the cards this arvo...

How's this sound: Cheltenham-Rangiwahia, coffee at Mangaweka, Vinegar Hill, home.........

I'm thinking of leaving around 1:30 if anyone wants to join me...

Awesome day out on the bike - two little rides in one day. A couple of blogs up about them. Owl still sucks for stealing my tag!

Front PR2 starting to misbehave a little at 11,500kms....

Yeah that's probably the only bad thing about PR2's I reckon, right near the end of their life they start to go off..

It's lost it's proper profile - pretty much like every tyre I've ever used. It just takes longer on a PR2 and when it get's there you notice it...

If the weather stays fine I reckon I've still got another 1,000km in them...

Yeah I reckon I had about a thousand K's left in my rear but I biffed it anyway, would rather cut my loses and get new one put on, AFC have some sharp prices on PR2's for your bike at the moment, particularly 190/50 rear's.

Yeah? I was going to try the Angels this time. Brian got a reasonable price out of them so I should be able too. But if the PR2's are cheaper...

Yeah definitely cheaper at the moment but only on selected stock by the looks of things.
