Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
that was the question that needed answering today so Mo & I went on a mission to find it this aft (along with a good ride to get ready for the capital 1000k) East was the plan
off to the Bay we headed & yup absolutely stunning weather at Pataengta pubso short wee refreshement & time to jump on the bike for a non stop ride back home. Rather windy but easily dealt with, just been a while since riding in it. Get to Dannivegas & temp has dropped about 10 degrees - love the heated handgrips

Get close to woodville & realise the Grand Challenge riders are heading north east spotted Wuzards Eugene, good luck dude !!
Left Mo at end of her road & heading home when I spied this car driving erratically behind me .. himmm opened throttle & left for dead, slowed through Tokomaru and headed out other side and this car was bout 2 feet of the back wheel .. hmmmmm
the stupid idiot passed me on the blind corner ..backed right off .. did not want a bar of that behaviour .. to be honest I thought I would come around the corner & find them written off.
These young idiots speed up & slowed down all the way to shannon & thought fark it, managed to pop back infront of them before laws hill althought they tried to shut me outthen passing lane up laws hills -
then cracked up even further when the vehicle in front of them pulled out on the hill too. was tempted to sit outside home with my helmet off so they know it was a old chick that learned them
So Great afternoon of riding, awesome companyand yay we found the sun !!

Sounds like it was a good days riding for all, and good on an old chick for dealing to the lads
I woke up feeling like shite which got worse as the day went on. However, I did manage a ride into town in the morning and test rode a DR650 at Freedom. Mo and I are looking at getting into some adventure riding and the DR seems like one option.
I took it through some twisties and up some gravel and yeah, good way to goReminded me of my boyhood XL250 with a bit more more grunt. So, I'm trolling TM for something suitable to explore the gravel with.
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
Yes we did find the
Stunning weather over the hill; so hot we had to sit under the umbrella at the pub-not a cloud in the sky...unless you looked over towards the Manawatu.
Poor 86 left asleep on the couchmissed out on a nice ride....dreaming of gravel and bark busters
Yup-good on the ole' chick teaching the `wet nappy wears` a thing or two![]()
Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.

Noticed someone that was on the GC that kinda looked in a dirty mood.![]()
Just back from a mint day on the bike. Kaitaia to here via the 'naki - just one card to get at Lake Ferry.
Road conditions for you other mob:
- Napier-Wairoa, very badly knocked around with slips etc. Be very careful if wet.
- East Cape, not too bad. Lotta bumpy around by Te Puia Springs.
- Big diversion about 40-50km East of Opotoki, may be delays and definitely some off-road riding.
- Mangamuks, patches of gravel & new seal (was mint in the rain this morning)
- Awakino gorge, mint!
- Mt Messenger - damn wet when I was there
- Everywhere else, a lot of road works and delays...
Do not put Angels on a Connie...
Whats wrong with the angels?
Well done by the way
