Oops sorry Sam,and took the black fully faired SV1000 but although felt ok sitting on it,I didn't think it went as well,and haven't been disapointed with gixxer,and having ridden the bandit for 37750km appreciated the handling and power of gixxer,glad I had the time on the torquey bandit.

Excellent ride up the top of Takapair Rd today, stunning views (that's Dannevirke in the background). Despite my extra big tank I still managed to run out of gas 9 kms from the Ashhurst Servo

Laid the bike on its side and managed to get enough for another 7 kms. Had to push it the remaining 2

Does the favourite girl in you life drive a corolla with mags by chance?

I'm trying not to breach peoples privacy(too much at least?)

Funny you should mention that, the tank was advertised as 18.5. Depending on what site you're on it's anywhere between 18 - 18.6 and when I filled up from absolute zero it was 17.58! Hmmmmm. Still, at least I knew pretty much exactly when I was going to flame out

A group of guys driving the best make of cars Ford Tickford ones are heading to Tui Brewery this Sunday for fathers day bbq etc,is a great way to see some fine vehicles,and yep I admire Commodores too,just never owned one

,am thinking of heading over to Palmy Sunday and heading to tui,be a good ride,and every now and then the odd boyracer in the guys lets loose with burnouts in carpark

,amazing seeing 60yr olds grinning madly while wives are swearing at them.

And the coffee is good as well.
