Ok, dirtiest patch is right above me but once at the top of the hill it looks ok, mostly overcast but patches of blue around with a light breeze at the moment and no rain that I could see. I'll be at Vegas BP around 10:15.
Mmmmmm Kerry's not coming down today, so I'm thinking about riding. It's either that or buy some Brakleen and strip my front calipers.![]()
Nunquam Non Paratus
Ok, the time and place is there mate, up to you.
Kerry did say he was pretty snowed under with work. I am taking family to Tui, they are going in Pinky and I am taking the beast so if anybody wants to go for a blast around that area around 11 for a hour or two . I would be very keen. Weather seems to be getting brighter. I don't feel like doing tour again, girls just don't do it for me
You could ride over there as well if you want but as they will be folowing it will be pretty tame![]()
Me too..............
Having a nice lazy one today so have a SAFE ride all!![]()
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
I think I'll be avoiding speed and metal things for awhile, it's dangerous, bloody dangerous I tell you![]()

Sorry to have missed you, would have been pootling through the gorge with Pinky on my tail about then
Considering how the weather started I managed an absolute mint adventure
Gorge to Tui for a mocha, left family on tour and Mr n Mrs Ynot having some lunch and went to see if I could retrace the route Bonz brought us back from the Annie. After some great twisites and a few gravel excursions (I shall save for SK1PY) I found the route to homelands and returned via bluff road.Lunch and a chat about the summer event next weekend, 3.5k tickets sold, can't wait

Whilst the sun shone I took the family up to the WINDfarm, bit breezy but the saddle road was dry and in about the best condition I have seen it for ages. Took them back to woodville so had to use ballance and the track to get home
Loads of bikes out and all happy and waving. Nice 1k behind Rebyl but he went for the gorge.
Slight breeze but what a storming few roads and all within 40k of home.
Hope you all had as much fun as I did
Did mean to try the anti-mist pin lock visor thingy but forgot and as I only met 1k of rain the whole time probably not a good testing ride anyway.
Nice little ride: http://banditrider.blogspot.com/2009...ay-pootle.html
A brave little scorpio did well in some pretty blustery conditions coming back from Danniverke...
It got a bit windy on the return from vegas dinnit?!
I was off on a brisk run home til someone flashed their lights and i went into pootle mode waiting for mr plod. He never eventuated and Owl decided he'd had enough of my pootling and shot off so we had a good run back to Woodville where he headed off for the saddle road and I went straight through for a cold beer at home
great ride
